This is madness. Everyone’s talking about it. Halo 3 is out. Xbox players are shrieking in excitement. And I’ve only played Halo 1. That’s just sad.

I’ve been so backdated with the one thing I’m ’supposed’ to like: playing games. For a game development student, I’m not playing enough games as I’m expected to. Well, that’s just my theory. But really, it’s been so long since I keep up with what’s hot in the gaming world.

When people speak of Halo 3, I can only relate to the one Halo game I’ve played. The graphics was so smooth, the concept, original, the gameplay, unique. I really liked it. Master Chief was just.. cool. And that land rover/buggy kinda thing… damn nice.

I didn’t miss the Halo 2 hype either. But all I could do was to watch videos of it on youtube and such internet media with my mouth watering. Once, I tried playing it at a friend’s house. I actually tried to stop myself from enjoying it coz if I did, I’ll be sad when I get home and realise I’m unable to play it whenever I want.

Not so recently, I went to the Game Convention, and saw how freaking far the technology had developed. Everything was so… graphic heavy. Sometimes people tend to forget on the important aspects of a game and dump all their energy on creating breathtaking gfx. Stuff like storyline, gameplay, loopholes, are often overlooked.

For example, warcraft 3. I know it’s old. But I’ve never liked it. And yet, the game kept spawning and evolving and getting more and more people playing it. I’ve played warcraft since warcraft 1, back in the days of 1.44 inch floppy disks. I loved the storyline and concept. And when warcraft 2 came out, the jump was so big that I couldn’t contain myself. Warcraft 2 was awesome. It really expanded the warcraft universe. But when warcraft 3 came out, and I got the game, I was thinking: This MUST be some preliminary testing version! The game can’t be as sucky as this!?

But anyways, for Halo fans out there, here’s a cool clip on some guy with a really realistic masterchief costume. The bg music’s nice. I don’t know where it’s from.

Also, I was browsing through the google trends website on the day of Halo 3’s launch. And people are already searching for cheat codes. Pfft. Pathetic.

I must’ve forgotten that I can only write when I’m sleepy and stoned, when my brain will not filter the stuff I’ve got to say.

But I don’t have anything offensive or frustrating to say.

It’s the holidays for me. Results are still not out. Heh. It’s gonna be a suspenseful period of waiting again. DAmn the administration.

I was gonna organise a break fast gathering among the RA:51 people. (credits to fuso for coming up with that name) However, seeing that it’s kinda last minute, I decided not to send out the smses. Maybe next week.

Been busy with 2 freelance jobs running concurrently. But, no income as yet. It’s so mouthwatering just thinking of what to do with the money. But then again, I haven’t made any for a while. I hope to finish them by end of next week.

I guess my plan’s coming together rather nicely now. I planned to launch this website last holiday and I did. I plan to start doing paying jobs by this holiday, and so far, it’s going quite well… for a start, at least.

Other than that, I’ve been making trips to industrial estates to accompany a friend in search of a bike, to survey bikes of my own interest and to send a friend to repair his bike. Oh and to service my blown out tail light (which I dreaded so much but ended up costing 3 bucks! Haha…)

It’s a very pleasant surprise to see how CHEAP some of the class 2A bikes are. My class 2 license is on hold, pertaining to the couple of unfortunate mis-scheduled incidents couple of weeks back. I’m thinking about settling with a 2A bike… soon. Not that my current scooter’s giving me problems or anything… It’s just that, a change is well overdue.

Anyways, many many thanks to all the visitors to this website/blog. I don’t know if you guys are people I know, or kind hearted visitors that happen to pass by and clicking on the search engines &/or the google links. I just checked adsense, and I’ve made 35 bucks since last month.

Yeah, it’s a small amount to most, but I appreciate the support. REally, I do.

I’m not much of an Iron Man fan. But any comic adaptation movies, I’m gonna give it a chance. I wasn’t paying much attention to Iron Man till today, when I saw the trailer.

One reason why it’s so deliciously awesome is the trailer itself, with all the bits and pieces of clips from the movie. The cool CG… the Mark 1 prototype… the Iron Man song from Ozzy!…

The other reason is that I just watched Zodiac last night. It’s a movie about a killer who kills people randomly in the 60s and 70s. He managed to get a lot of attention to himself and evade the police till 80s. Anyway, there was a really good actor in it who plays the reporter.

And when I watched the Iron Man trailer, he’s the guy playing Stark, Iron Man.

Haha, I just googled Zodiac and found out that it’s Robert Downey Jr. Cool.
