Batman Trailer Goodies
I’ve been meaning to do this ever since the hi def trailer was released. It might be a bit late, but I just wanna point out some goodies I’ve spotted after geekishly forwarding and rewinding the trailer frame by frame.
So, in random order, here they are.
The first thing is this scene before it zooms in to Bruce Wayne sitting on the chair. You can see his armguard thing from the batsuit lying on the floor. *pointed out by Joe Kool.
Then, it zooms in to Wayne, and you can see that he’s in the batsuit, looking at his cowl. I heard and read somewhere that this isn’t even in Gotham City. Hong Kong maybe?
Batman overlooking the city. At this angle, that new armourish suit doesn’t look that bad.
Joker in the police car. Notice that the car is swerving around, even though it’s a straight road. Something must’ve happened to the cops driving the car. And if I can remember, the driver seat is on the left, but looks like it’s empty eh?
I think this might JUST be the modified batcave. Reminds me of the Matrix virtual armory. See the elevator-like thing right in the middle? If it is the batcave, it’s a little too bright isn’t it?
Before the scene where the batsignal got smashed, there was a split second showing who’s responsible for smashing it with an axe. Looks a hell lot like commissioner Gordon eh?
I thought they didn’t put Two Face anywhere in the trailer, but hey, look who’s circled in the picture above. It’s Harvey Dent!
Check it out! It’s Alfred! He got a “oh bugger” look on his face as Joker comes in to crash the party.
Joker is clapping his hands in prison. Ooooh how very psychotic! Look at the sharp, black fingernails.
A shot of the batpod firing a shot into some debris to clear the path.
The scene where Joker is in jail. He’s put in isolation. No one else in the cell but him. And he seem to be taunting the cops, the way he’s sitting and looking at them.
This is the bat signal being destroyed by Commissioner Gordon. Wait, is he commissioner already? Last we saw, he was a lieutenant. Hmmm….
Joker at his psychotic greatness again.
And yes, there’s a Starbucks in Gotham also, even with its corruption and all.
The batpod rolling.
This scene is awesome. Somehow it reminded me of the scene in Tim Burton’s Batman where Batman flew his plane down and tries to shoot Joker while Joker simply stood there unmoved. This time, Batman’s on the batpod.
I shouldn’t have written this when I’m this sleepy. Could’ve made more observations, but if I don’t write this now, I’ll probably not write it at all.
Ok, that’s it, I guess. I can’t wait for more goodies and the movie itself. More entries to come. Stay tuned.

You should have seriously put “SPOILERS AHEAD!!!” (esp for that Gordon smashing the thing part). Haha…

fantastic observations! i didnt know he was wearing the batman suit while sitting down in his office, and i didnt know gordon is the one who smashed the signal.
i think joker, or twoface, is responsible for turning the city against the caped crusader. wow. that’s gonna be cool.

oh oh oh batman!
i hate clowns like hell, but i can’t wait to watch heath ledger’s performance! he looks awesome, i heard he stole the spotlight from batman in this one.
can’t wait to watch this! =D

even IF he stole the limelight from Batman, I’m sure it’ll be worth it. I heard about how he prepares for the role in the movie, it’s awesome.
I’m more looking forward to see Ledger’s Joker than Bale’s Batman.

Cool postings of the observations, just a few things:
1 THe one of Bruce sitting ina chari staring out the window is in the new condo complex being built in Chi-town
2 And a big oops, the scene where the semi-truck is blown/flipped over you see the word CHICAGO on the candy shop ‘Sweet Home Chicago’
The movie is going to ROCK and the 7 min trailer at the beginning of I am Legend…kicks ASS!!!

Hi there… nice analysis of the trailer.
With the publicity so scarce and secretive, it’s nice to see people making the most of what they can find.
Even now, few months away from release, they haven’t shown us anything else…

great post! but I think the movie wont be so good as the first one.
its sad that joker died, but first one’s got originality. this one looks abit mixed up.
just my opinion.

well i’ll just say for a start we know thats not a “modified batcave” if you recall his home was burnt down,yes? so i’m guessing from this that he lives in the city or at wayne tower and its just a temp batcave, also gordon is’t comissioner. its a shame going through it as geekishly as you say that you didn’t notice that scarecrow was in the car that batman lands on.

1. the new bat suit comes in sections, if you remember when Fox is showing it off. thats why when you see Bruce sitting in the condo there are parts on the ground.
2. its no secret, Gordon was the one to smash it. he had it put up and he had to take it down. its what batman wanted.
